Has anyone out there used Dr. Waters for secondary surgery?
If so, can you share your experience?
Are you happy with the results?

I tend to "shy away" from posts where I do not know who is asking a specific question so if you would like to hear my positive experience with Dr Waters regarding secondary surgery or more you are welcome to email me privately. Ldybug4134@aol.com

Krista,
I found your response very interesting. I have started feeling the exact same way in the past few weeks. There has been some real fishy stuff going on around here and it is sad to think that some manipulation by a few, makes us now doubt some of these guests or new posters. Some people have been set up, and some posts have been started just as an attempt to stir things up and cause potential conflict. Sad, isn't it?

"guest"
I do feel the same way. It is VERY hard for me to trust ANYONE regarding this injury anymore. I have been stabbed in the back by people who "pretended" to be my friend and from now on I am keeping my mouth shut when I don't know exactly who I am talking to about my daugther b/c ya know what....????
When people ask questions as a guest I now believe they either are trying to get a war going regarding doctors or they know that they are doing something wrong or intend to do something wrong. It is so fishy and that's why UBPN is a place where I no longer feel secure. I learn so much here so that's why I continue to come. I have made a lot of friendships here so I still keep this place close to my heart. It's just the people who want to start trouble ruin it for everyone else and then they think it's fine and dandy to go on with their lives.

Krista,
Gosh, I relate so very much. Sometimes it is for legal reasons that some of us must post as guest, but many others manipulate it, especially lately. Fortunately, several of us see through it and know who is behind some of it. I am so sad that you feel that way and I feel the same way, along with some other people I know. The worst part is that is a victory for those few people. They want to silence us, threaten us off board, etc. They want to control all the new parents and lead them to believe they are so nice and supportive, while taking their ability to think for themselves away. They are not well people and they are not even honest with themselves. I am sick about all of this but I do believe "truth is the child of time". I hope in the future we won't give them the power to mess with us and use guest posts or create fake names. Enough is enough. And by the way, if you say you are going to leave the boards and you say bad things about UBPN, please keep your words and don't come back as someone else. Have some personal pride and dignity...please. Let go.......

Krista,
I am very interested in Dr. Water's. Would it be possible to get some answers from you? I live in NY and looked at all the doctors. It it so confusing with all the info but I think I would feel better being closer to home. I think all the doctors are wonderful and should be praised for all the help they have given. I won't bash anyone. Just looking for help. Thank you.

Re: Dr. Waters
I have not been on in a very long time but i also live in NY. My daughter had her secondary surgery in Boston by Dr Waters. He is wonderful. I highly recommend him. We are going to see him next Monday for pre-op for her next surgery by him. We did not want any one else to do the surgery but him. You know how that is, you trust the ones who know what they are doing and have experences. We do not have the resources to go to Texas. But I have heard wonderful things about them also. We stay threw the hospitality program in Boston. The families that we have stayed with are so kind and wonderful to let us impose on them while we are there.
Good luck to you child and your decision

Guest,
That was a really unnecessary diatribe.
Frankly, I am more than happy to see people coming back on the boards, rather than leaving in disgust ... which lately seems to be a small epidemic!
What amazes me is that those who come back on (brave souls that they are) end up having to assume a fake identity in order to stave off hate mails. If you're going to be upset about something, be upset about that.
