its always something!!!!!!

Post by sharlon »

just like with gilda radner i feel like its always something!! i got a call from lisa at tch and she recomended that we prepare for surgery in january of next year. since we sent in the video marlin has begun to fold out her scapula and i wouldn't call it winging its much more pronounced than that, its almost as if her arm and shoulder are stuck together. any way i called tch this morning and they think that she may have a dislocated shoulder. we are going to get an xray today to tell what we are dealing with, she has been doing so well up until now it is so disapointing. why can't things be easier for her and for us. for all of us.

i haven't talked to the dr yet but i saw the xray and it certainly looked dislocated,in fact it looked like the ball and socket was mal formed. we did an exray of her right side too and it was the perfect ball and socket the left looked like a stick and was no where near the socket. back to tch i suppose i will submit the xray to them after my local neurologist looks at them

I agree. We just got our call from TCH too. Kelsey is having an x-ray this Monday on her shoulder. Lisa Davis said she may needs the caps done. I was hoping we would skip right past that surgery. Dr. Nath had lined out the next 2 years for us when we saw him in July for Kelsey's bicep lengthening. This wasn't in the plans. We will just be waiting until we get the results........
