I really hate to be a nusiance but... Pain question

What do you all do for the pain? Mine is particularly bad today (I'm wondering if it has something to do with the crappy weather) but the only thing my dr. told me yesterday was to take percocet. Unfortunately I can't take it when I'm at work. I also can't take it a lot since it's adictive. But I really need to do something about the pain. I can't find any comfortable position and it's really distracting. I was thinking of trying a heating pad when I get home but will that help?

For me, what has given me the most relief is Celebrex, which is used to treat arthritis.

I am so sorry to be no help. When I am in pain I tend to just live with it until bedtime. Then I will take something.
