Good Bipolar Meds???

Post by maverick »

I was diagnosed with bipolar II a couple of months ago and have been on depakote for the past couple of weeks. So far I feel really sluggish and nowhere near as energized. My job requires much energy as I deal with teenagers all day long, so this side effect is taking its toll. I have heard about lamictal and topamax, but am unable to find out any real info. from users. So, if anyone has had success with a particular med. I would really love to hear it. Any suggestions would be extremely appreciated.

My brother used to take Lithium for his, he no longer takes it as he feels he is NORMAL now! I noticed a huge change in him with it. Might be something to check out!
