Any adult undergone biceps/tendon lengthening

Well I sent my video to Dr Nath and he called me today. He states that most of my problem is more mechanical than anything else. He stated that I would need to undergo a biceps/tendon lengthening requiring a 3 month cast/splint process, and also a partial subluxation in my shoulder requiring a airplane type splint. Wondering what the outcome has been for those adults with similiar procedures. Dr. Nath stated that some times these procedures don't take, and I guess I am needing to know whether I should proceed with the surgeries. I don't what to make my problems worse. Any helpful information would be of great benefit.
