- Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: I am ROBPI, global injury, Horner's Syndrome. No surgery but PT started at 2 weeks old under the direction of New York Hospital. I wore a brace 24/7 for the first 11 months of my life. I've never let my injury be used as an excuse not to do something. I've approach all things, in life, as a challenge. I approach anything new wondering if I can do it. I tried so many things I might never have tried, if I were not obpi. Being OBPI has made me strong, creative, more determined and persistent. I believe that being obpi has given me a very strong sense of humor and compassion for others.

Re: Prayers need for our premature grandchild
Thank you for all the prayers and thoughts.
Our Amazing Grace is breathing on her own and everyone is shocked at the rapid recovery from the infection. She is now about 3 lb. 7 oz. and improving. Prayer can move mountains and give us great miracles. Since the doctors cannot explain this rapid change in such a tiny baby.
Please continue to keep her in your prayers she is still a very premature baby.

Grace is having a very difficult time again. She seems to have developed another infection and has a brain bleed. The doctors cannot find the cause of this infection and are baffled she has just had another spinal tap and they once again are looking for meningitis. Please continue to pray for her we will get the results of brain scan tomorrow. Thanks for all the prayers and support.

Grace continues to amaze us all. She just had a brain scan and the doctors are happy with what they are seeing... This new infection is responding to treatment. Thanks for all the prayers she needs them and they are what has helped this baby to fight.

The resiliency in these little guys is inspiring but the power of prayer is paramount. What stories her parents will be able to tell her!! She has a lot of people she'll never know pulling for her.
