Congradulations Erica!

Post by admin »

I just want to publicly congradulate my sister Erica (you know her, she lives in Alberta, Canada)
She has gained much movement in her right hand, overcame her BPD, and now she is a proud home owner as of June 1, 2004. Her house is so cute, so perfect for her. I just want to let her and evryone else on here know how proud I am of her accomplishments. Please join with me in cogradulating her on an awesome job overcoming adversity. Erica is a true hero and trooper in my eyes!

Well done Erica and congradualtions

Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: I am ROBPI, global injury, Horner's Syndrome. No surgery but PT started at 2 weeks old under the direction of New York Hospital. I wore a brace 24/7 for the first 11 months of my life. I've never let my injury be used as an excuse not to do something. I've approach all things, in life, as a challenge. I approach anything new wondering if I can do it. I tried so many things I might never have tried, if I were not obpi. Being OBPI has made me strong, creative, more determined and persistent. I believe that being obpi has given me a very strong sense of humor and compassion for others.

Erica
I am so very happy for you... it seems we have watched you grow up, mature, gain movement in your hand and overcome so many things... I am so happy to hear you are now the owner of a home of your own...
