I got a phone call today from BCCH, they have talked to the Therapist of my choice and he is very interested in providing Therapy for Ashley when her cast comes off. I am so pleased because he is interested. His wife is a Doctor and I am hoping he shares all that he learns about BPI's with her.
Also, I was told today that Ashley will be wearing her cast for six weeks and then a splint full time for four more weeks, and at night time for 10 more weeks! My goodness, I hope I can talk her into that every night!
Thinking of you all!

We got our Physio Therapist!
Re: We got our Physio Therapist!
Hi, Lenni. Nice to hear your good news! I hope the therapist meets and even exceeds your expectations!
Some people have hung a calendar and checked off the days until the splint/cast is off. I don't know if that would go well for such a long timeframe, but it's something to consider. Also, perhaps it might be nice to have something special planned for the end of the entire period (and even after the daytime is done too). Maybe that'll help provide some extra incentive to hang in there. Take care.
