You should call TCH (if yo haven't already)for help. You should also check with local state charities that find flights for sick children. I know SouthWest has a program. Check with some of the airlines.

I've tried southwest and severl others one injurednewborn.com and have been turned down due to lack of funding.
I'm actually having trouble getting ahold of of someone to talk to at TCH about the date of her surgery. I've tried emails and phonecalls.
I really can't book any flights because I haven't heard from TCH.

My daughter is scheduled on May 5, and I am having no luck with flights either. I spoke with someone at southwest 2 weeks ago, and he said that they could help "no problem" with me, my husband, and my daughter going out and back because the freeze would be lifted april 15. Well, I faxed them the info and the letter from my daughters pediatrician today (the 16th) and received a call that the freeze is extended until the 15th of next month!! LOT OF GOOD THAT WILL DO ME!! especially since the guy already said "OK"

Barbara, which are the people you have contacted. List them and maybe somebody knows something else. Where do you live?

Were in South Carolina.
I've contacted several...Care Jack, Southwest...
Northwest requires a couple weeks (which we don't have) I called Continenal but no one called back.

I did do a search on priceline.com and found a pretty good package of round-trip air and hotel for 360.00 per person. I may have to beg off my family.
But like I said I still haven't heard from TCH for a positive on the date so I'm just sitting here twiddling my thumbs pretty much.

try www.orbitz.com also
hotels can be cheap
the holiday inn is $59 brachial plexus rate so a package may be more expensive than you think

I would also try hotwire.com. I have gotten tickets from their website as well. They are quite a bit cheaper then orbitz or expedia etc. The only catch is that they DO NOT let you know what time you will be flying out until your purchase your ticket. It is an inconvenice, however, the prices are a lot cheaper.

You can always contact Julia Aten via the UBPN Wings Program (you need to allow at least 4 weeks for the airlines to review your request).

Sorry to hear about not getting a good response from Southwest. I am a 32 robpi & was able to get free airfare for me & my husband in 2/04. I had surgery in Texas. Keep trying. Be persuasive!! I live in Alabama. Where do you live?
