Well, I went camping and decided to try to ride my nephew's dirt bike. Not the brightest of moves I've pulled. I ended up going about 30 ft and crashed big time. I landed right on my arm that I just had surgery on in Sept. I'm really quite sore. I did the heating pad, and my tenz unit. I don't think I injured it any worse then it already was. It's mostly my shoulder area that is sore. I'm going to give it a few days then if its still hurting go get it checked out. Do you think I could have injured it more?
At any rate...it kind of was the funniest thing to see! Like I said..not the brightest of moves I've pulled.

- Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: I am ROBPI, global injury, Horner's Syndrome. No surgery but PT started at 2 weeks old under the direction of New York Hospital. I wore a brace 24/7 for the first 11 months of my life. I've never let my injury be used as an excuse not to do something. I've approach all things, in life, as a challenge. I approach anything new wondering if I can do it. I tried so many things I might never have tried, if I were not obpi. Being OBPI has made me strong, creative, more determined and persistent. I believe that being obpi has given me a very strong sense of humor and compassion for others.

Rachel...
Are you crazy? some people get tbpi from bike injuries.
Have it checked out and I hope you are not too sore.
Glad you are still in one piece. You are too much what a dare devil... hmmm

Rachel,
5 months after I had the mod quad, I fell and fractured the other hand. I think our sense of balance is esp. awkward post surgery until out bodies adjust to the new ways of doing things.
Anyway, I hope it is all ok for you. I'll bet if you go to the emergency room you will get a diagnosis of 'brachial plexus injury'. LOL.
Do take care.
