Janny-Scottland - Bras whose straps won't fall down...

Post by francine »

http://www.ladygrace.com/

search for OLGA

the first bra (#319) is the front
but them look further down...there will be picture of a bra with a different kind of back.... that 'comfort style' is just a different back on that first bra...

funny that this topic should come up...my eldest daughter needs "extra" support and I just got two of these comfort back bras for her, because her straps always fall down! lol

ladygrace has pretty good prices, too...but being from Scotland I guess you wouldn't be buying from there.... Do you have access to Olga from your country?

Well what can I say....I guess you got me pegged!!

It was as good as standing on my roof with a bullhorn huh?? LOL LOL

Sorry.... I just feel so close to everyone on here and we're all in the same boat... Sometimes people don't read inside the posts - just the topics and I thought that it was such a good point - there are some families of kids who are adolescents now and I'm sure this is something they are thinking of.

I'm sorry. Will you forgive me??

OK - you can now embarrass me in public too! I earned it! What would you like to know?? LOL

big hugs,
francine

Francine

Thats what I like about you.... right up front with your answers...... LOL...

But this would be a good note for the adult/obpi board... since this is a major problem....keeping any type of straps on the bpi shoulder....

I wonder if tbpi girls have the same problem with their shoulders.... the guys don't wear shoulder straps.... LOL....

Janny glad you got a laugh... you needed it.....
We can't see you blush on the board....

Oh francine .. those sports bras .... the ones with the T backs... are very uncomfortable could it be the scapular winging or perhaps just the tight things issue????? they feel uncomfortable on the back...

Ops Francine
I guess I got my letters wrong...LOL

I mean the Y bras.... seem to put pressure on the scapular or catch it wrong....

Overalls my Mom sewed a band between the two straps so they would stay up...

May be a small piece of elastic... would help...

well kathleen - if you ask me, ALL bras are pretty horrendous- wish we didn't have to wear them ever.
Sorry they cause so much problem with you, too. (I don't like the 'y' or 't' ones either because it bothers my neck so I can fully understand why they may not work for you guys)

How about a strapless bra? would that be better? or one that has criss cross straps (X)in the back?

-francine

ps - christy - you are too much!! I was trying to forget that one! LOL

I have tried them all....

Strapless may as well be braless..... but not as comfortable...

criss cross (x) again puts pressure on scapular...uncomfortable.... just keep wiggling to get is comfortable...and then its out of place again...

I use everything with elastic straps...and that works...... glad they started to make them.
It keeps the shoulder strap up on obpi shoulder....
Warners.... makes elastic strap bras with and without underwire.... just a hint for sweet Janny... whom now we have all embarassed...
But I figure ... the men will stay away from this post.... LOL

AAAAARRRRGGHHH!!!!!!
i hope my kids never look on in here....i will never live this down LOL, a big internet discussion about mums bras LOLOLOL
if you all look out into the night sky, im sure youll see the beacon!!!!
kinda glad i brought the issue up though coz it seems its not only me who has a problem.i wasnt too bad til the op. but now i only have half a shoulder i cant keep anything up....even t shirts fall off.
one of my friends suggested those elastic clips you get to hold sheets onto a bed.....a great idea i thought, til i realised i cant put my hands up my back to clip it on and the kids would have a fit if i asked them to do it (vickis at the stage where anything that concerns me is a big embarrassment and rebeccas still into toilet humour so shed think it was a scream if i asked her to do it!)
Guess ill just have to get a big roll of sticky tape like the models do lol

take care all,
janny
