Brachial Plexus Seminar

Post by m&mmom »

Please visit:
http://www.franklinfamilybpi.com/Seminar.html for information about an upcoming seminar sponsored by The Delaware Valley Brachial Plexus Consortium.

I do have Course Objectives that need to be posted, however the outline and registration form are there.

Cindy,

This looks like a really informative day with some great speakers!

Do you know if it is for families or therapists or other doctors? Can anyone register who is interested?

That's great Cindy.
I'll be there.
Our snow should have melted by then, I hope, and it will be safe to drive again. LOL.

Cindy, I noticed that the Hershey Med. Center was part of the Consortium. I was wondering what role they are playing in it.

Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: I am ROBPI, global injury, Horner's Syndrome. No surgery but PT started at 2 weeks old under the direction of New York Hospital. I wore a brace 24/7 for the first 11 months of my life. I've never let my injury be used as an excuse not to do something. I've approach all things, in life, as a challenge. I approach anything new wondering if I can do it. I tried so many things I might never have tried, if I were not obpi. Being OBPI has made me strong, creative, more determined and persistent. I believe that being obpi has given me a very strong sense of humor and compassion for others.

I am so glad this bpi seminar was put together. I have seen the one with Dr. Nath and Dr. Pape and it will be interesting to see the different viewpoints. Thanks to whoever has put this together.
