I realize this isn't too pleasant to offer, but my bpi son (he's 19 now) told me awhile back that he used to have really scary dreams, from a very early age, about being buried alive. I've since wondered if there's any connection to the bpi birth experience (of being stuck in the birth canal.)His bpi birth experience was about as bad as it can get, with much oxygen deprivation.

Lizzie wakes up crying frequently. It is a startled, in pain cry. We put her in a different position and she goes back to sleep. Poor sweeties...
