Winging

Post by Tracey »

For parents who have gone through the "winging" experience with the shoulder, could you help me out? Alexyss is starting to wing and I want to know if there is any special exercises or types of therapy that work better than others? I would like to hear your sucess stories please. Even the bad ones too.

Thank you,
Tracey

Hi Tracey, my daughter also has a winging shloulder blade and her shoulder is sightly out, about 1/4" of the socket. Her physiotherapist suggested we rest her arm on a pillow as often as possible and when she is sleeping. This seems to help a bit. Good luck.
