We are from NY and go to TCH. Both Dr. Nath and Dr. Shenaq have performed surgery on Juliana. I like their whole approach and would only go there for treatment. I have seen other doctors for second opinions--they just keep showing me how much I (we) belong at TCH.

you can email me.

I'm from the large list of people who take thier child to TCH and do post here. I have heard more negative about a particuliar Shriner's in our area and refuse to go there. Sometimes the experts aren't real experts, do your research. Questions like how many patients seen, surgeries performed, success of surgeries, how much research the clinic does on its own, etc. are a good place to start. You are the final judge of where you go, so an informed decision is necessary.

I think it probably depends on which shriners - because it really comes down to the individual doctor in my oppinion so it would probably be helpful for this parent if people would pest which shriner's or which particular dr. they would recommend - or not- I realyy don't see why if someone had an unsatisfactory experience they shouldn't be able to say so - wouldn't you want to know for your child? I can tell you I do not hesitate to tell people I had an unsatisfactory experience with my obgyn and who he is - why would I want someone else to have to learn by a bad experience of their own - their child counts too.

Dont worry about the spelling mistakes.. None of us are perfect. I know I make a few.
I appreciate your response.
