Need HELP!
Of course it is Saturday, and I can not call the company to get any answers, so I am asking any of you that can help! My daughter was prescribed a TES machine we are trying to order it from the TASC Network. Because we do not have a credit card or an ATM card that doubles as a credit card, we are paying by check. But the post office, UPS, and FedEx in the US has told us that because the company is in Canda we are not allowed to send money, and if customs find that the package contains money they can disperse of it. So, how do you get money to Canada legally? We do not have time to mess around, we have to have the machine in our possesion before February 11, that leaves very little time!

Re: Need HELP!
You can get the estim machine through a company called EMPI.
Re: Need HELP!
If you have the money and plan on paying cash then you can go to a bank and request a guaranteed credit card. Which means that the money that you have for the unit will go in a savings account and be frozen. It has nothing to do with your credit rating since it is a savings secured guaranteed card. That amount you have in cash will be your credit limit. You can order the card to be overnighted (2-3 days) for an extra $25.00 (depends on bank). When you get the card you can call Tasc and order your unit, using your credit card and then pay it off with the money in your savings that was frozen. Check with the banks, not all offer the same products.

Re: Need HELP!
I can't imagine that there would be any problems mailing a check to Canada. I've done it for work frequently. Also, maybe the company will take Paypal, you can sign up with just a bank account and make a payment to anyone as though you were using a credit card.
Re: Need HELP!
Send a check! My family has sent me checks in the mail for many years for gifts from Canada to US. I don't know how they would possibly know that there is a check enclosed.

You can electronically transfer the money from your bank via the internet or go to the bank and get them to do it for you will need their banking details to do it and it can be done the same day.

Have you tried Easter Seals? I live in Texas and we got our E-Stim through Mediquip. Might want to see if there is one in your area. I hope this has helped some. Good luck getting the machine.
