Had the surgery to relieve spinal cord compression on C-4 and 5 a week ago. Doing ok. Takes a lot out of you. Wish I could convince the surgeon that those big bad bone spurs and herniated disc's wouldn't have happened to me at age 50 if Erb's wasn't in the picture. Anyway, wanted to let everyone know that other than having a scar on my neck and a titanium plate on C4 and 5, I'm up and walking.
If anyone has any extra chocolate, it may help my recovery. LOL Pat Q

Re: Surgery
Hi Pat
Sorry I have been so busy I have really not been around much.
I hope you are feeling better and that the surgery helped.
I find it very hard to tell and physician about obpi... It seems if its not in "their" text book they think it is not possible.
I feel total body impact is so neglected with most of us.
I told the ENT my ear problem was due to smaller canal etc... He explained where the Erbs Spot on my arm is and how it has nothing to do with my neck and ear... DUH.... just gave up and walked out shaking my head.
Take care and keep us updated on how things are going.
