TPBI

Post by admin »

I have been fighting for three years for relief from the pain and use of my right arm. I have been told that I have Dystonia and TPBI, and was treated with so many narcotics I finally had to detox. Since detox, I am doing somewhat better, but still looking at pain. Unlike many, I have use of my arm and shoulder - and hand, but boy, after any use I pay dearly in the bed with heat. I am trying to find a doctor in Alabama that treats TBPI - can anyone helpl. I am desperate. Our money is runnig out and soon we will lose ur health insurance due to the cost of my health and my husbands. He had a heart attack two months agao, i belivev in large part to taking care of me for three years and watching doctors tell me to live with it - and take drugs.. can anyone mail me at my address with info. thanks.

I dont know any drs in alabama but in New Orleans there is Drs klien and Teil @ LSU. They are listed on the resources section of this ubpn site. I went there since they were the closest to Florida. And I was pleased to finally find drs who understand our injurys. They will look at your records before you traverse down there as well to see if they think they can help you. Give them a call

Can you get disability. We could no longer afford our cobra. My husband worked for Northwest Airlines. We have to be off insurance for 3 months in order to recieve MA. Kids are automaticly covered no matter what. I was injured along with my son, so it is hard to wait, but time flies.
