Happy Thanksgiving & doorways

Post by Kathleen M »

Hi All

Just thought I would leave a note for all of you wishing you a very Happy Thanksgiving.

I am so grateful for all of you who share this journey with me now. It is so much better now that I am not "rare" anymore.

If the word doorway caught your eye you must all think I lost it, no I was just counting my blessings. I was blessing my door way this morning. I needed to put on my screw back earrings and just propped my arm up and was able to do it... of course I use the door way to hold my arm up with the dryer in my hand too! But usually I am annoyed because walking through the doorway I get hurt if I forget to keep my elbow down... so this Thanksgiving I will count door ways among my blessings... LOL...
Have a great day

Kathleen:

Happy Thanksgiving to you and to your family. This is a special year for me because I was able to meet so many wonderful people at Camp, people like you. You were the first injured person I'd ever met. I'm thankful for your friendship.

John
We were so happy to meet you and Marlene.
This was my first camp and it was such a rewarding experience. I am thankful we were able to meet. Sharing this journey with Erb's with others makes it so much more comfortable. Camp was a great experience and a blessing.

My sides still hurt from laughing. I wonder what happened to Anthony?

Have a great day

A belated Happy Thanksgiving to my ubpn 'family'!
I was away for about 10 days, without my computer, which was a huge step for me. I've been tied to my computer for so long, even when I travel and it was great to get away from it for a short while.

Of course it is always good to come home again and check in with everyone.

I drove for 17 hours yesterday and my bpi arm is a bit tired to say the least. I also have a huge bruise on my forearm that looks really awful from one of the rides at Disney. Of course it doesn't hurt very much but it sure looks horrible.

Anyway, I too am most grateful for all of you.
