Hey Ronin, try this guy and just see what he has to say. If you want to see someone in Georgia, he is the only one we have listed. Have you thought about Dr. Kline in Louisiana or the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota? Here is the link for the guy in Georgie though.... http://ubpn.org/medicalresources/georgia-bpi.html. Good luck let me know if I can be of any help!

Ronin,
Go to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, if you want to get the best care and results.
Here's a link to their TBPI specialty area: http://www.mayoclinic.org/brachialplexu ... uries.html
For more information, read about my stepson, John, and the success he's seen from two surgeries in February and April of this year at Mayo on the following UBPN threads:

He had all nerves avulsed (C5-C8 & T1) in a cycling accident Novemember 2003. He already has elbow flexion (slowly across a table with a towel and quickly in water) and can make a fist (slowly by "thinking" and quickly by breathing) and we found out yesterday from his quarterly checkup & EMG that he has a flicker of nerve activity in his triceps and they expect to see return in his biceps and, hopefully, scapula as well.
Hope that this helps, our prayers are with you.

Re: Where's a DR??/
Ronin, with this type of injury you can't really say I will go to the nearest Doctor. There are several good Doctors in America like I think Dr. Nath and Dr. Shenaq here in Houston. Doctor Kline in New Orleans. You can find the medical resources by state and then ask people about their experience with the Doctor you decided to see.
