So excited

Post by whitneys mom »

Well, It seems as though Chocolate birthday cake works wonders. Whitneys Party was on the 16th and she was just covered in chocolate. I don't know what was in that choc. but thursday in Therapy, we discoverd that whitney now has slight feeling in the lower part of her arm where there was none before. She also accomplished a few things that we have been working on( like pulling a sock off of her left hand, with her right, bpi, hand.) Then Friday night, she took her first step, and of course I missed it. but her Grammy(my mom) got to see it. Sniff Sniff, my little girl is growing so fast. I just had to share all of this with you guys.

Thanks
Amanda

P.S. I don't know if its just me, but I find I get more excited about accomplishments with her affected arm than I do about her reaching "normal" milestones. Don't get me wrong, I am thrilled about her trying to walk, but am I wrong for getting more excited about the feeling in her arm?

amanda - feeling in the arm is HUGE!!! if for nothing else think about the safety aspect - her arm will be so much safer if she can feel what's happening to it.

So CELEBRATE!!!!!

I wanna see the chocolate face!!! post a picture on the site ok??
