HELP HELP HELP!!!!!
I need some help. I can't eat I can't sleep, I am probably going to have a melt down. I just got on medicine for post-traumatic-stress, I know it will take a while. I feel so hurt. OK< anyone been harrassed? Any accusations against you to make you look bad? Lies? I was stalked at WalMart last night, i am sure of it. A creepy man stared at me. I turned and he still stared! I believe the doctor's ''People" are doing this. They want me to think I am crazy. Something weird is going on. I know it sounds strange, but I am sooo serious. What can I do?

Hi Madmama,
Can you explain a bit more about your situation, calmly? I got the "impending doom" part but take a deep breath, calm down and tell us what's going on. Medicine for post-traumatic stress: what was the traumatic event? If you thought the guy at Wal-Mart was harassing you why didn't you confront him (maybe with a store clerks assistance) by asking the man if there is a reason he is looking your way. You wouldn't have to insist he was looking at you if he denies it, but by asking him to explain you've let him know that you were annoyed. I'll bet he would have offered you an apology. May-be the post-traumatic meds that you just recently started taking are causing you to feel paranoid. Wait... did you start taking the medicine before or after the Wal-Mart incident. Do you have BPP? Long-term stress is a sort of a part of the package so maybe taking meds for the stress is not such a good idea. I'm not a Doctor! If there is a valid medical reason for taking meds then I understand, but I tend to avoid any medication that isn't absolutely necessary. I don't take meds for the pains I get in my neck, chest, shoulder, arm or hand because I know that those intermittent pains are permanent and meds wont cure me of those pains so why should I poison myself with pain killers for the rest of my life - I'm sick enough already. Eat, sleep and don't melt down. The doctor's "People"? My advice to you is this. Don't allow yourself to entertain some kind of "impending doom" scenario. Be a realist. Confront your demons calmly and rationally when they well up. They may not go away but they will only get bigger if you let fear run your life. I hope you will take the time to tell us more about yourself and good luck with everything.
P.S. My yahoo group ERBSBPP is about addressing the problem of people with obpi being able to support themselves. We obpi sufferers should be entitled to some kind of support from social security disability insurance but most of us are not entitled to any compensation. To visit my group you will need to establish a free yahoo e-mail address and then click on yahoo's group feature and type ERBSBPP in the search box, and hit enter. Now click on the blue ERBSBPP link. On my groups home page click "join this group". It's completely free. OK! Now, go to the bottom of the page that appears and click "join". There are lot's of links to other bpp information and the message board is about trying to improve the lives financially of people with obpi.

Re: HELP HELP HELP!!!!!
Part of Post Traumatic stress is about EXTREME paranoia. Hopefully the treatment will make things seem better, if you still think you're being followed, Cliff's advice abut involving someone else is good. Hope you feel better soon, PTSD sucks.
