North Carolina BPI Clinic

Post by Francine_Litz »

Just got word of this for my gatherings page....

Dr. Maureen Nelson of the Charlotte Institute of Rehab will be hosting a BPI CLINIC with Dr. Saleh Shenaq of the Texas Children's Hospital on October 17, 2003. The clinic begins at 2:00 pm. This is the 3rd time they are doing this together.

If anyone is interested in attending, you can set up your clinic appointment by contacting Dr. Nelson's office directly at 704-355-0547.

Just a note of clarification from Francine: this is not a family gathering.... it is a medical clinic... there will be no family gathering before or after this clinic or as part of this clinic day.

Called to get an appointment for Kaitlyn and they are taking names and numbers and will have someone return the call when they are ready to complete the details...anyone else hears anything let me know and I will call them back. It is a long trip but nothing like TCH, especially for a hands on eval.

Hi! My son was evaluated by Dr.Wattenbarger at Miller Orthopaedic Clinic in Charlotte. He starts PT and OT tomorrow (being evaluated anyway). I'm interested in finding out more about the BPI clinic. Can u tell me more? Thanks!

They called me back yesterday with an appointment. It seems they are holding the clinic from 1-7 and it is by appointment only. We are going because we have a video due to TCH and it will be the first hands on eval since her last surgery. Much closer(and easier!) for us to drive to Charlotte than take extra days off to fly to Houston. Plus we have experience with both Drs.

Hi all! I just made an appointment for Ashlyn yesterday, we also had a video due to TCH. Our appointment is scheduled for 4:45. Have any of you received any info on hotels in the area? Hope to meet some of you there.

I will be checking on hotels tonight and will let you know what I find out. Haven't gotten anything from CIR yet however...were we supposed to get hotel information? Anyone in Charlotte that can help us out with suggestions as to where is ok to stay?
