It should air sometime in October '03 but might be later. keep in mind that my full surgery will not be on the program - the portion that they will show will be "TV clean". The story is mainly about the Mayo Clinic and my doctors. The section on me and my doctors will take a fifteen minute slot of the hour long program. Do you get Discovery Health Channel in Scotland & Canada? let me know if you have more questions.

I have the Discovery chanal but it dosent say discovery health are they the same thing???? if not i'll have to see if i can get it or a tape of it. Good luck with your surgery.

no, discovery health is a specific channel for health related issues. discovery and discovery health are two different channels. do you have cable?

Do you all receive Outreach? Camp would be a great place for you all to meet. The current Outreach has all the details. In addition, there are going to be some great TBPI sessions. The registration materials should also be up on the site very shortly. I know it may be hard to get to camp for the International folks, but hope you all can make it. Scholarships are available if there are financial concerns.

hi had a motorcross accident in oct last year
have a brachial plexus injury of c5678 which is an
avulsion. had anerve graft in may to try and get some
movement back in the elbow,nothing so far if you
have any info love to hear from you im 9 years old

You've got the best doctors!! Dr Bishop did my surgery 14 yrs ago, I was 19 yrs old at the time. I've met with Dr Spinner in Feb. and in March. They have some other muscle transfers they want to do. I can't wait to see the program!!! Mayo is the best place in the world with the best doctors! if your looking for implants to "fill out" your arm, make an appointment with Dr Craig Johnson while you are there! He'll make you "look" like you've got your arm still. Good luck, and if you get a date let us know.

Yes, we are so happy with the doctors. thank you for the info about the implants.
