I'm new to this and have no idea what you're talking about. We're in Austin.

Thanks for filling me in.

powertruck.....

the proclamation she is talking about is having the government proclaim Awareness Week for that particular week....

we are working towards getting a National Proclamation - so getting the attention on a local or state level is very important...

Hi Kimberly

It was great meeting you and Brittany at camp she is a cutie...

I e-mailed you but it bounced back to me. I was wondering if you would share with everyone the steps you took to get this Proclamation I think it might help.

JudyT adult/obpi got one from her Mayor in Fla.

Great going

Yes, my email is incorrect and I have been emailing Ryan for a couple of weeks now to PLEASE change it. Maybe something else needs to be done so we can change our own email addresses. There is a new family here in San Antonio that was trying to get to me, but again it was the wrong email. They saw where I had posted my new one and finally go to me. I am going to meet them on Sunday as we are having an Ice Cream Social to kick off Awareness Week. They have a one year old named Jacob.
That is all I know.

It was really quite easy to get the proclamation. I just emailed a sample proclamation and a letter to the mayor's office asking for San Antonio to recognize this week of awareness. I don't think anyone should have trouble getting this. As far as the State of Texas, I did the same thing. Contacted the Governor's office, asked them what they needed to do a proclamation, and sent the same items to the governor's office. It wasn't like I had to go beg for the proclamations. They were very receptive.
