Talk about a long morning.
But it was worth it to hear the good news. The OT at Shriners said shes got excelent range of motion. She put both arms up kinda like the top of an H and then down like the bottom of an H, she said in the BPI cases they see down here most children arn't able to do this. We've got a new brace on order to go on her thumb to help keep it out of a fist position and to help the joint straighten out.
I'm sorry about the spelling mistakes...not my best subject.
They see no need for surgery right now, but the fact that her sholder blade is coming away from the muscle is a concern. Has anyone had to do anything special for the shoulder blade?
Thanks in advance!!
Went to Shriner's.

Which Shriners hospital did you go to?
Re: Went to Shriner's.
We went to the Shriner's in Greenville, SC. There is a Dr. David there I was told was a specialist. Once we got there they told me he has a "special intrest" in BPI injurys.
