How exciting!! It's great to read about the adults who go through surgery because you can explain how you feel. With the kids they can't describe what it feels like to finally be able to lift their arm above their head or bend their elbow for the first time, etc. Keep us updated !

That is awesome. I know we (adults) are really doing well. In the last post it was mentioned that the adults can voice their emotions & the kids can't, that is so true. When they were removing my drain before I left the hospital, they asked me did it hurt. I told them no. They said that some of the kids really scream. I told them the only thing that bothered me was the tape. For kids it is hard for them to tell us that they are hurting for a specific reason.
