Texas video evals ?

Post by Cara »

HAs anyone sent a tape into TCH lately? We sent one in last week and I was just wondering what kind of turn around time we are looking at before we get feedback from them.

We sent our's in at the end of February, and didn't hear anything about the video until our appointment in April.

But, if you're not an established patient, I've heard that it can take up to 2 months for them to get back to you.

HTH!

Thaks for the info. I was afraid of that, but I am not surprised. I kind of remeber calling a few times last time we sent a video in.

Cara, last time we sent one in, we waited about 4 weeks, then called. They are definitely busy, but it never hurts to bring your name back to the top of the pile. I believe they view the tapes on certain days, certain weeks, which is why it takes a while.
But definitely call.

they replied to us in 3 weeks. I was surprised at the quick turnaround.

We sent ours in the first week in August and heard back about 3 weeks later. They told me to expect about a 3-4 week turn around time. I ususally call though to follow up after sending a video. When they viewed ours they had viewed 47 that day. They usually wait until they get quite a few and then view them all at once. Give them a call after a couple of weeks to check the status. Stacey
