My parents are gone!

Post by ipeverywhere »

My parents are gone so I have time to post. Wanted to give a big thank you to everyone at camp this year and especially those who organized it. Wanted to also say a double thank you for the adult injured after hour’s parties and those that organized them.

I’m compelled to go get myself back in therapy and see the doc again. My mother already started looking up Craniosacral therapists in the area. There is one right in my neighborhood. Is that a sign? I’ll be starting my journey back to taking care of my arm tomorrow.

City Camp seems like a long way away but I’m looking forward to seeing everyone again. If anyone ever makes it to the D.C. area please stop by for a visit.

Ryan,

I was so amazed when you got on that table and the therapist did the cranio sacral on you and she just zeroed right in on where you were tight and where you had pain and then in just a few minutes was able to do something that had an immediate effect. Wow. Hope you find someone in the D.C. area that can work on you. Keep us informed about how it goes.

Your parents are just super! And for those of you who don't know it yet, Ryan's mom, Karen McClune is our newest member of the UBPN Board of Directors.

Hi Ryan

I just wanted to make it clear that we (Mark & I) didn't have ANYTHING to do with those after-parties!

I have a difficult time even putting into words how much the camp experience meant to us.

I never really met your dad but your mom & I shared some pretty similar experiences in what we went through. This website has guided me through ALL the tough times and I am so appreciative.

It was a great experience for us.

Many thanks to all involved for such an enlightening and successful event.

Next Up: March on Washington in 2005!

P.S. Hello to Brenda and Happy Belated Birthday. Hope you enjoyed!

Hi Anthony,

You are one in a million! We totally enjoyed being with you at camp. I am so happy that you made it happen and were able to attend. I don't think it would have been quite the same if you hadn't. I think, "hand" down that you were by far the most popular guy there!

It was a pleasure and hope to see you again! And, also wish you happiness and pain-free days.

Love ya,

Nancy & Mark

P.S. We are NOT to blame for the injured only gathering being so much fun!

RYAN - get someone who is trained by Upledger Institute... find out how many classes they took and which ones.

This is very important.

Massage therapists who are nationally certified have to take CEU credits... there are many non-upledger schools doing fast CST classes for a couple of hours on a weekend... this is ok for someone without a serious problem...but for you - you need someone REAL.

ok??

I think the site is www.upledger.com and they might even be able to look in their registry to find someone for you locally.

good luck with this,
francine

Ryan

Admit it you were the ringleader of that gang!
Anthony I want your autograph! My sides will have the tape taken off soon... still hurting from your stand up comic act.

I promise next time I go to camp I will remember my flash light... no more walking in the woods alone at night... LOL...
Thanks for letting the old folks share in the fun...

Just remember our secret handshake for 2005...

Ryan thanks for introducing me to my new best friend Karen... can't wait for her to get home for my e-mails...

Glad you are going to start to take care of your self.
I have had a few sessions in Craniosacral therapy and it does help...

say hi to Brenda
