Hard words to hear

Post by tina arvizu »

I heard some of the most horrible words today. "Globally Delayed" For those of you who may have already been through this you know what I mean. All this time working on her arm and now to find out it could only be the beginning. Gabrielle has been tested and will now have to go to therapy preschool three days a week. She now has to have a head, spine and arm MRI done. There are concerns due to her lack of speech, walking and all gross/fine motor skills. They do not know how much is due to the BPI or if there is something else. We see the new Neuroligist tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed for clean MRIs. So much for Mod Quad in March. Thanks for listening- freaking out just needed to talk. Tina

Tina - I'm really sorry to hear this and I will pray that the results of the MRI show nothing serious. I'm at a loss for words. Just know that we are here for you! Don't lose hope! and stay strong!

So sorry...I hope and pray you will get good news from the tests. Try to keep your head up and remember that no matter what they find, your little girl is an awesome person. She may have a few problems with the outside but I bet she makes up for it by being a sweetheart on the inside!
(((Hugs to you)))

I'm so sorry about the scary news and I hope and pray that the tests come back with good news. Sometimes the wondering is the worst part - and after the test results you will know where to go from there to help her. Teresa is right. Your little one is already a very awesome girl no matter what the results find out.

Oh Tina..the others are right. Whatever the results, you have an amazing child and all know that this won't stop you from doing what it takes to get her what she needs. And that is not what you need to hear from us right now so...

I will sit here at my computer and cry for you, be angry and scared for you. But I will also be praying for you and your family that this all works out. Please don't lose faith now, you need to keep your head up and going strong. Please keep us posted and know we are here for you, no matter what the outcome.

Wow, that does sound hard to hear. I hope you get some answers soon so you can move forward. Try not to get too stressed out with "what ifs." Remember that each day has its own anxiety sufficient for that day. Please keep us posted and I'll keep you all in my thoughts. -"The other Tina"

Tina,
I am so sorry! It is hard to say, but keep the faith! Something good is bound to come out of this! You have to go through the bad before you get to the good. You are in my prayers and thoughts. Good luck!
