I don't know if this is a serious question or a joke, but regardless, the answer is, of course, no. UBPN is a 501c3 non profit organization and is not, nor can it be, for sale to anyone.
Nancy no joke lets move it to the East Cost. This man will but full time employs on it and make it alot better for every one. He is the director for other 501c and do's a great job. Mary

Re: DONATIONS----- PLEASE
Mary1 or actually Paul,
The people who donate their time and efforts to UBPN are doing an amazing job. They put in ungodly hours and don't get paid a cent for it.
Insulting their efforts - especially at a time when they are working day and night to create an amazing retreat for hundreds of families - is just uncalled for.
Support can come in all different ways as Nancy stated. Being a positive influence on the message boards is one huge way we can all help out.

Hi Francine
I made a large donation my self. And I'm not Insulting
anyone's effort. Your from the Tri State, group would
it be nice to have the UBPN near all of us and not
have to go looking for donations.
Who is Paul? Is he that guy that was put off the
board for spreding public information.

Paul,
UBPN IS CLOSE! They are close to everyone in the whole world and that's how internet organizations work. Where the main office is, means absolutely nothing. They are doing an excellent job and they are growing exactly at the rate they need to grow. Maybe they are not meant to be a huge corporate entity. I'm sure that in time the financial piece will be worked out- if we all pitch in and make a good effort to help them... after all they help all of us!

david - I believe that you can just go to paypal.com and send money to "donation@ubpn.org"
Re: DONATIONS----- PLEASE
If there is an interested party willing to fund the organization then I would suggest providing his name to the board members so thet can pursue a charitable donation - not publicly in this forum. If he is truly interested in the cause then the location of the office really should be irrelevant. I have operated 2 charities before, as Executive Director, and having a broad base of support is essential but having a benefactor can have a huge difference on the impact an organization can make. I ran one that had a benefactor and one that did not - in both cases fund raising was important BUT with having a benefactor the organization and the board were able to focus a lot more energy on the purpose of the charity. If there is a potential benefactor out there it could be a huge boost to the organization. This doesn't mean that support from the membership wouldn't be required because benefactors will only remain supportive if the organization can show that they are fullfilling their mandate, which includes a broad base of support in its membership and financial support. The IRS also needs to continue to see the support for the charitable status to remain intact.

Re: DONATIONS----- PLEASE
I'm sure that the UBPN board members research and follow-up on all REAL funding possibilities.
Re: DONATIONS----- PLEASE
You bet we do!
Thanks Francine, you are exactly right.
