perseverance (non BPI related)

Post by Missy »

I feel as though I am witnessing God's hand here at work today. There is a 106 year old woman on our floor who is in with a severly low heart rate. Yes, I said 106. It's not a type-o. And she just rolled off to the OR to get herself a pacemaker.

I am in absolute awe of her inner strength and will to keep going. She's not ready to go...she must have more work to do in this world. God wants her here for a reason.

Seeing her and her family is giving me strength today. I realize that if you want to overcome obstacles, be it age or injury, you can. Anything is possible if you want it bad enough. If a 106 year old woman has the drive to persevere, then I can too.

I just feel so inspired by this woman...I've been given a breath of fresh air. And I wanted to share it will all of you.

Love,
Missy

Hi Missy, Sometimes we witness an angel in disguise w/o even realizing it. I believe they come to guide us and help us in our daily obstacles. Today, you saw an angel to give you this "breath of fresh air" and make you feel happier and stronger. If it wasn't for our angles I don't think we would ever get by. Keep staying strong and positive!
