Anyone selling a Focus?

Post by admin »

My son needs a Focus and our insurance won't cover it. Is anyone finished with one and is ready to sell it?

I believe it is a NeuroMuscular Electrical Stimulator. Kind of like E-stim but a little different. We have one from a different company.

Focus is the brand of a NMES unit. We used it on my son's tricep muscle to try to build it up to help the elbow flex since his bicep is so strong and no tricep. It helped while we used it, but he plateaued and wouldnt tolerate it anymore so we discontinued it. He was to wear it for 30min daily ecspecially during weight bearing exercises(which he hates!!) I put it on and did it ever hurt!!!!!I'm surprised he tolerated it as well as he did. He was almost 3 when we began and we did it for about 9months. Hope this helped!!
