Kyle's having surgery Feb. 12...anyone else going to be there around that time? Can anyone tell me how far Hobby airport is from hospital? And is the Crowne Plaza connected to TCH? Thanks.

Hi Karrie - there is a post further down about someone wanting information on TIRR and in there in my post, I have links that show where Hobby is in relation to the medical center (maps).
The Crowne is directly across the street from TCH...literally steps.
Hobby is closer than the other airport (Intercontinental) so it will be cheaper to get there. I don't know about taxi rates from Hobby but from Intercontinental it's $43.50 (for as many people as you have) each way. Hobby should be a bit cheaper.

Natalie is scheduled for surgery at TCH 2/11. We prefer to fly into Hobby because it is a bit closer. I was there just this past Thursday and the taxi was $35 (including tip) each way.
