Christy..that is the important thing that your daughter has fun. There are some parents that think the little ones are in the olympics. They need to get a grip. My brother stayed on his son while he played ball & then my nephew got to where he actually hated to play.
My son played 4-5 baseball & he was in the outfield trying to catch bugs with his glove. (Of course we got it on video)
I am glad your daughter enjoyed herself.
Take care,
Deanna

Soccer is awesome!!!! I am robpi and I started playing when I was 16. They didn't have the league in my area until then. I played for 4 years every chance I could. I played on the Varsity team my junior and senior year. I built up my self confidence. My team was very supportive and always did the throw-ins for me. Like I have said many times before, I have never thought of my arm as an obstacle. I am soooo glad that my mom never was over protective. She always let me try anything I wanted to whether it was playing on the swing set or joining the Varsity soccer team. God also has let me try anything by giving me beautiful twin daughters.

We try not to be too overprotective...most of the time it doesn't work but we do try. Co-workers kept telling me how rough it would be but I have to give her a chance to find what she wants to do. We were really great, didn't mention anything until we saw the coach start to run around the field holding her right arm so then we discreetly spoke to her after practice. I had forgotten her wrist brace and once that is on I doubt anyone will not know not to bother her arm--it is neon pink and purple. And she tries all the stuff the other kids do on their swingsets and climbing forts. She's a big kid now don't you know!
