Splint side effect?

Hi,
I had received a splint from my BP doctor 10 years ago. I really didn't use it because the pain from stretching my arm. I decided to try it again because I'm sick of my arm staying bent. I used it for a few hours on two different occasions and now my neck is completely stiff. Using the splint is the only thing I've done different and am wondering if this could be the cause. Anyone else have this happen?

I am sorry I can't help on this one I wore a brace the first eleven months of my life and then never again.

Maybe some of the other adults will check in with their experiences.
