Hey Rob,
I am writing from the West Coast. I saw your posting regarding fun activities. I am x-avid surfer since my accident in August '92. I have been searching desperately to find something to wear in the surf to keep my arm stabilized. I have been using a short John wetsuit. I just keep my left arm tucked inside. It works ok, but it is so tight that it gets uncomfortable after extended periods. I wanted to find out a little more about your wetsuit sling. I have been thinking about making a sling out of rash guard material so that I can swim without the arm flailing. Any info/ideas would be greatly appreciated. I found a good spandex sling with a wrap around which is really good for running. It keeps the arm real snug and secure. Also, 10-12 ft is insane. The biggest that I've been out is 4-5 ft since my accident.

Can I ask where you found the sling you use when you go running?

Re: Rob Nelson - WetSuit sling ?
www.armsling.com - I ordered the sling online and it was delivered the next business day. I love it for all recreational activity. Make sure that you get the "Joslin" Swathe. That is the most important piece in securing the arm. It is very comfortable. My entire left arm is paralyzed.
Good Luck !
