I'm sorry that I can't offer you any advise, but I'd like you to know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers next week. Best of luck to you and your family.

Re: So Nervous
Well - you have my sympathy - the only words of wisdom I can offer is - be calm - and try to not take what they ask you personally - they are Attorney's who have been employed to "save the butt" of the doctor in question. They questioned me personally for a little over 6 hours. They asked everythingthey could think of. They even had the nerve to ask if I had ever been reported to Child Services and if so what were the allegations! Totally annoying - and having nothing to do with her injury. My oldest daughter has a different father than my baby (who's injured) - and they even asked if my oldest daughter's father had an other children and if so, were they healthy! OK-different Mom here idiot - what does that matter!
They went over every doctor I have seen since I was 10 years old and why! They phrase the questions so they are misleading and they suggest your answers! They try to confuse you - and get you frustrated! They then questioned my husband for another almost 2 hours. They asked HIM - Not Me - but My Husband if my oldest daughter pays child support - and if so, how much! As if that has any relevance to the fact that my daughter was injured!
My only advice is - keep your cool - and try not to take it personally! If you don't remember something - don't guess - just say you don't remember! If what they are asking doesn't make sense - tell them that - and make them ask you a question that you can understand and answer - and above all - remember: YOU ARE NOT THE ONE ON TRIAL! YOU DID NOTHING WRONG!
