Suggestions for those feeling "down" right now...

Post by francine »

I think that it might be a good idea to get AOL's Instant Messenger. This is a free download from aol. you get it at www.aol.com (it's in small print somewhere at the bottom of that page).

You set yourself up with an alias. And then you find out who else you are interested in chatting with and enter them as a BUDDY of yours.

When you log into your computer IM will pop up and it will show you who's on their system at that moment and if you want you can 'bing' them and see if they are free to chat with you.

Sometimes if you are in a panic - just talking to someone for 5 minutes can totally shift you.

So if you decide to do this - my alias is MomBu.
(when I was pregnant my eldest daughter called the baby the Bu (boo)- she'd say "hi baby bu" - so I became the MomBu)

Hi. Francine.
I signed on a few months ago on the Free AOL messenger service, to talk to family about 3000 miles away. It helped. My alias is countrygirlnice. I know it sounds corny, but my kids picked it out.
So maybe we can talk sometime.
Take care,
Debbie
