Re: How successful is a hand tendon transfer?
in my case the tendon and nerves had to be arranged differently because i did not have enough muscle tissue left to support the tendon and nerves in the position they were supposed to be.

Alheim, from what i have gathered the type of tendon transfer for this condition(radial palsy) is all and all beneficial but i have also read that when you have a tendon transfer done for this there is a slight loss of grip. Im six years in to this injury and i am considering the sacrifice.

Oh
I never had surgery for my birth erbs .
I best decide my best grip is a thumb and next to fingers ,
I guarantee what ever you have or by now possible surgeries ???
You are better off to strengthen what you can to assist your good arm.
This way you can handle what your trying to do The outcomes are proof by post here
