Hi All......
I haven't been on these boards in ages and hope this post finds all doing well. May daughter, Katie, now 10 has a LOBPI. I am pleased to report that she has been doing fairly well, until recently. She is a very active child and is very involved in All*Star cheerleading, where she is a flyer and tumbler, doing things I never thought we'd see her do with this injury. I am, needless to say, extremely proud of her and her progress. She has recently started to complain of pain in her injured arm, elbow, wrist and scapula. Her Dad and I recently noticed that her fingers appear shorter on her left hand, winging has gotten a little worse. She has never complained of pain until recently, say within the last month and a half. She was released by her specialists years ago after hitting a plateau in her progress and we were advised to keep up use of the arm, at home therapy, etc. We have an appointment with the pediatrician on Thursday, which I'm sure will lead to going to the specialists. Here's my question, we've been out of this scene for awhile. Are there any new surgeries or delvelopments out there that you can suggest looking into? And has anyone else dealt with this kind road block and what did you/your doctors do? Thanks for your help.
Love and Prayers to All;
Cheri (mom to Katie, 10, LOBPI)
