Masking Therapy as a Personal Sport
Synchronized Swimming?? It started out as an attempt to 'mask' her weekly therapy using water resistance, music and her love for designing clothes. The coaches took the doctor's 'range of motion' requests and turned them into a routine. With Raquel's 'Never Give Up' attitude and Mom's ability to sew, mother & daughter made the swim suits that took Raquel to local, state and national competitions.
