am curious to know why UBPN isn't getting 100% of the profits (considering that all your costs are covered)

Sorry for the confusion.. 100% of the proceeds go to the UBPN. We started this store to help raise awareness of these injuries. We thought it would be easier to raise much needed donations if people like yourself could purchase apparel an help bring awareness and in return get something for your donation. This is about helping an organization raise awareness of its cause.

Chris - thanks for responding.
So I am curious -- if I buy a shirt and it costs $25 (or whatever it costs online) - how much of that will actually go to UBPN?
thanks,
francine

Hello Everyone,

We have a few orders come in for apparel. I know many people have visited the online store and would like as much feedback as possible (positive or negative) so we can make it the best it can be. We are looking to update it in the very near future to make it more user friendly and add more products, awareness ribbon magnets, stuffed animals for the kids, water bottles, key chains, stress balls just to list a few.

Thanks , Chris

Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: LOBPI. I am 77 yrs old and never had a name for my injuries until 2004 when I found UBPN at age 66.

My injuries are: LOBPI on upper body and Cerebrael Palsy on the lower left extremities. The only intervention I've had is a tendon transplant from my left leg to my left foot to enable flexing t age 24 in 1962. Before that, my foot would freeze without notice on the side when wearing heels AND I always did wear them at work "to fit in" I also stuttered until around age 18-19...just outgrew it...no therapy for it. Also suffered from very very low self esteem; severe Depression and Anxiety attacks started at menopause. I stuffed emotions and over-compensated in every thing I did to "fit in" and be "invisible". My injuries were Never addressed or talked about until age 66. I am a late bloomer!!!!!

I welcome any and all questions about "My Journey".

I sorry to say that as of 11/14/2012 we have have to shut down the apparel website, do to lack of use. The was no charge for the website if we maintain a certain number of transactions each month. We have not come close to this and they finally caught us with it.
If there is still interest in apparel please let us know and I can put together an order form that I can post online
Thanks
