Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: LOBPI, had surgery when I was 9- they moved muscles and tendons from one side of my arm to the other side. I can lift my arm to about my eye level, can't straigten it all the way and can't completely supinate my wrist.

i understand with the cheerleading as well. i knew i could never do it, and i too, was on color guard in high school. i worked with my coach, and did well. we had to modify one routine because of my lack of overhead movement, but nobody noticed the subtle difference from everyone else.

This is an issue for us as well. Addison is 11 and can't do cheerleading like all of her friends because she can't do a back hand spring which is required. It broke her heart at first but she's just accepted it. She won't be able to do the back hand spring and they won't make an exception.

The hair fixing is a bit of a problem as well. She's learned to make it work but to get it curled or flatiron I have to help.
