Brachial Plexus Doctors

Post by Mygrandaughter »

My grandaughter is 5 months old and has a right arm BP injury. We have seen Dr. Park is St. Louis and Dr. Kozin in Philadelphia, and want to obtain a 3rd opinion before deciding on surgery. She has made some progress and raises uses her arm and hands to some extent, but still has a way to go. The main problem areas appear to be her biceps, elbow and proper shoulder movement.

Can anyone tell me about Dr. Grossman and Dr. Price in Miami, and I think they have an office in New York as well.

We see Dr. Price (we used to live in NY) and he did our daughter's last surgery. I like him and find him very intelligent and thinks "outside the box".

I've never met Grossman, as we did primary surgery elsewhere (and it was 11+ years ago!).

They are absolutely worth a trip.

I don't know if they are closer, but Cincinnati Children's Hospital has a very good brachial plexus center (one of the top rated). They recieve a lot of referrals from other places and are more than happy to give 2nd/3rd opinions. They have a great webpage for contact info.
