One Born Every Minute

Post by Rainadod »

Did anybody else see the new show on Lifetime, One Born Every Minute? They had a shoulder dystocia. It was so hard to watch and now I can't stop crying. The baby was fine. It just reminded me so so much of my delivery. They wisked Vallen away and she laid there silent getting tubes and bagged and FINALLY cried at 14 min old. She's almost 13 now and it never gets any easier. I hate it so much

I found the clip online. If you see at the bottom of it number 1-5, if you click on 2 it will show the Shoulder Dystocia clip shortly after. So disturbing. I did like that the nurse admitted it was the most terrifying thing in Obstetrics. And fortunately this doctor handled it right. But so so hard to watch still.

VERY hard to watch. The waiting for her to cry after she came out was the hardest to watch... it took me right back to that horrible silence after Joshua was born.
