Hi All,
I have a couple questions for you all
1.I am actually planning on coming the America/Canada early next year for a few months to have an extended holiday (from Australia) and im thinking while i am there i would love to consult someone who really specialises in this field!
I will be travelling all over the states so location isnt a problem but i am just trying to get the names of some of the best specialists in the business so i can do my research and organise to see one or 2 of them.
2.I have an OBPI Left shoulder. If someone throws a ball at me i can swing both arms up and catch it 2 handed but i can not hold my left arm up there as there is no strength in my arm. Can other people with OBPI swing their arm up to do that?
Thanks for your assistance
Wishing everyone a merry christmas
Brett

Hi Brett,
I think I recall talking to you maybe a year or two ago. I can only tell you about the facility for adult BPIs in my state as I havent been to any others but in Rochester, MN we have the Mayo Clinic who treat adults with BPIs I have had two surgeries at the Mayo and think they do a very nice job. Worth giving a call if you want their opinions and will be in MN
As far as the ball overhead thing, that rocks! I would never be able to catch a ball over my head with my right...its more functional as a paperweight.
Have fun on your trip!!!
