Paul Fejtek on TV tomorrow

Post by richinma2005 »

Get your DVRs ready for a media on blitz on our Everest story tomorrow – Thursday July 29th! The first segment should begin around 8:45 – 8:50 am local time nationwide on NBC, so it’s the same time no matter what time zone you’re in. You’ll see Today Show co-host and field correspondent Jenna Wolfe spending a day with us training for Everest, interviews and then narrating some great footage we shot from the top of the world! We haven’t seen the piece yet ourselves but hear it’s really good and sends a neat inspirational message.

And then later in the day will be an entirely different piece airing on the KNBC evening news beginning around 5:30 – 5:40 during the Dr. Bruce segment. This one is only airing in Southern California – Channel 4. Please set your DVRs for both morning and evening shows and maybe record the whole program since they may air it a bit earlier or later than the times I mentioned.

Thanks again everybody for your support and helping us create some great awareness for the Challenged Athletes Foundation! Please pass this along to your friends and we hope to see all of you soon!

Regards,

-Paul & Denise

Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: LOBPI. I am 77 yrs old and never had a name for my injuries until 2004 when I found UBPN at age 66.

My injuries are: LOBPI on upper body and Cerebrael Palsy on the lower left extremities. The only intervention I've had is a tendon transplant from my left leg to my left foot to enable flexing t age 24 in 1962. Before that, my foot would freeze without notice on the side when wearing heels AND I always did wear them at work "to fit in" I also stuttered until around age 18-19...just outgrew it...no therapy for it. Also suffered from very very low self esteem; severe Depression and Anxiety attacks started at menopause. I stuffed emotions and over-compensated in every thing I did to "fit in" and be "invisible". My injuries were Never addressed or talked about until age 66. I am a late bloomer!!!!!

I welcome any and all questions about "My Journey".
