Good Day to all!
I just found this board and am excited to see if others share some of my problems and might be able to provide suggestions. I have had my injury since a 1988 MVA. My right arm has no function, yet the hand works quite well(almost 100%) I did have an unsuccessful nerve graft in 1989, but have done nothing since then. I currently suffer from chronic non malignant pain which is escalating each month. The problem is that the atrophied muscles on the upper right back have created a serious imbalance of forces on the spine causing it to curve in a manner similar to scoliosis. The pain levels continue increasing and I'm told that there is little that can be done. Even my neck has started to hurt a great deal. My tolerance for medication is starting to get higher.
Is there anyone else out there that has or is facing this issue? Any input would be greatly appreciated, even if it's just to tell me to hang on because there are others who know exactly of what I'm speaking.
Have a great day!
