As a few of you know I have a beautiful 11 week old son named Elijah, who by the way is turning in to a butterball (14 percentile in height and 86 percentile in weight!). He couldn't move his arm two inches for the first two weeks of his life. We have taken him to therapy and seen a specialist in Birmingham, Alabama. And are scheduled for another appointment in two weeks. He went to his 10 week check up today and the doctor didn't say anything about his arm... before my wife left the appointment she asked the doctor "so what do you think about his arm?" and our pediatrician said "oh, he was moving it around so much that I thought everything had worked its way out." she said he was doing great! How wonderful is that!!! His therapist told us last week that she is seeing much better coordination in moving his arm to his mouth and he raises he arm over his head at least 5-10 times a day. Please continue to keep us in your prayers as you are in ours, we still have to see the orthopedic in a couple of weeks and if she doesn't see improvement then on to a neurosurgeon. But our fingers are crossed! Thank you so much for the support you guys have given me throughout all of this!

Wow, that is great news for you guys. It really sounds promising for your son that he is already moving his arm around so much! Good luck in the future!

Re: Update on my son
This is GREAT news!!! For him to only be 11 weeks and to be moving so much sounds like he will have a terrific outcome. I remember the first few months for us were especially draining emotionally and physically... Trust that I will keep your son and your family in prayer. God Bless.
